Return & Refund Policy
365 days. No fine print. No hoops.
We built a 365-day guarantee because the protocol takes 60 to 90 days to show measurable results, and we wanted you to have months of buffer beyond that to decide. If Lumbar IV doesn't work for you, we don't want your money. It's that simple.
Below is exactly how the return and refund process works. No legal jargon. No hidden clauses. The same policy Marcus would explain to you if you asked him directly.
The 365-Day Guarantee
If you don't feel the difference within 365 days of your purchase date, send back the bottles — even if they're empty — for a full refund of the product price.
No restocking fees. No return authorization codes. No phone calls to a retention team. Email us, send back the bottles, get your money back.
This guarantee covers every order — one-time purchases and subscription orders. It applies to every tier: The First Phase, The Recognition Phase, and The Identity Phase.
How to Return
Email us
Send an email to support@merusprotocol.com with your order number and a brief note that you'd like a refund. That's it. No questionnaire. No "reason for return" dropdown. No 20-minute phone call.
Ship the bottles back
We'll reply with our return address. Package the bottles (empty is fine) and ship them back using any carrier you prefer. Return shipping is at your expense. We recommend using a trackable shipping method so you have confirmation of delivery.
Receive your refund
Once we receive the returned bottles, we'll process your refund within 5 to 10 business days. The refund goes back to your original payment method. You'll receive a confirmation email when it's processed.
Subscription Orders
If you're on a subscription, the 365-day guarantee applies to each shipment individually, measured from the date that shipment was placed.
If a subscription shipment was placed more than 365 days ago, that specific shipment is no longer eligible for return. Any shipment within the 365-day window remains fully covered.
Returning a shipment does not automatically cancel your subscription. If you'd like to cancel, you can do so anytime in your account — no phone calls required. Or email us at support@merusprotocol.com and we'll cancel it for you.
Damaged or Defective Products
If your order arrives damaged, leaking, or defective, we'll replace it at no cost to you.
Email support@merusprotocol.com with your order number and a photo of the damaged product. We'll ship a replacement immediately. You don't need to return the damaged item.
Please report damage within 30 days of delivery so we can resolve it quickly.
International Orders
The 365-day guarantee applies to international orders under the same terms. Return shipping is at the customer's expense and must be sent to our US-based return address.
International return shipping may take longer, and we cannot be responsible for packages lost in international transit. We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping service.
Customs duties or import taxes paid on your original order are non-refundable, as those are collected by your country's government, not by Merus Protocol.
What's Not Covered
Free gifts included with your order (The Disc Recovery Protocol PDF, The 90 Day Recovery Journal PDF, and physical gifts such as the Lumbar Support Cushion, Companion Patches, Sock Assist, and Branded Travel Case) are non-refundable and do not need to be returned.
Shipping costs on your original order are non-refundable.
Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility.
Why We Do This
